Conceito à parte, musicalmente o trabalho traz toda a munição possível para agradar: bateria pesadona, riffs nervosos de guitarrra, melodias vocais e sobretudo músicas muito boas.

Destaques para a faixa de abertura e que dá título ao trabalho, “The Legend and the Truth”, “Deadman Walkin’”, “March To Destiny”, com participação de Tobias Sammet (Edguy), “OK Corral”, trazendo como convidado Joacim Cans (Hammerfall), “Look into the Barrel of My Gun”, “Earp’s Vendetta” com Doro marcando presença e “Alex”, faixa que encerra o ‘track-list’.

Sem pré-conceitos e radicalismos desnecessários, “The Legend and the Truth” é um grande álbum de Rock, de certa forma inovador, que merece ser ouvido com atenção. Ótimo trabalho.
