Legendary British heavy metal band "Buffalo" helped lead the the new wave of heavy metal music in the early 1980's. Mick Priestley (guitar) formed "Buffalo" in 1978 in Lancashire, England with John Ralphs (vocals), Mike Bailey (guitar), Tom Reid (bass) and Pete West (drums). The band recorded their debut single "Battle Torn Heroes" / "Women Of The Night" for Heavy Metal Records in 1981. The band has recently released their first ever vinyl LP "Bones Of The Beast" which was limited to 500 copies worldwide.
TRACKS:
1 - "Battle Torn Heroes" was written by band members Mick Priestley and John Ralphs and is a fast-tempo heavy metal rocker with good vocals from John Ralphs, driving bass, drums, hot guitar throughout including a sizzling solo.
2 - "Women Of The Night" also written by Priestley and Ralphs is a fire-breathing heavy metal rocker with gritty vocals, slaming bass, drums, stomping guitar with kick-ass solo.

Secondo album dei BUFFALO di Accrington, "Mean Machine" sarebbe anche il loro secondo e ultimo singolo 7" della carriera NWoBHM. Questo singolo è nettamente migliore rispetto al precedente lavoro, rilasciato sempre per la mitica label inglese la Heavy Metal.
